Putting vaccination risks into context

Picked this graphic up on Facebook last night.

Some people seem hesitant to discuss vaccination in the comments so hopefully this gives them the excuse they need.

Really drives the message home, doesn’t it?

  1. Amazing what you pick up on FB . . . look what I found . . . but I won’t be entering into any ‘discussion’ with you Ken because i know how nasty and vindictive and totally one-eyed you are . . . how you treat even people of Professor Paul Connett’s stature in the fluoridation ‘debate’ and allow your cronies to denigrate anyone that comes along with a different point of view than your own . . . Happy New Year you miserable bunch of no hopers.

  5. Pretty good example of misusing statistics and science to push an agenda. Anyone can compare apples with a blade of grass and draw a conclusions to suit their agenda.

  6. OK Weka, how about explaining? Seems to me all this is doing is putting the actual negative effects into context by comparing numbers with things we can relate to. What is wrong with that?

Ok, quote the ad hominem attack.

    “blah, blah, nasty comment,”

    Ok, quote the “nasty” part.

    “blah, blah, misusing statistics…”

Fine, quote the part where the statistics are actually misused.

Claims of skullduggery are worthless unless you can back up your claim.
It’s not your feelings we care about.
    Only your methodology.
    Put up or shut up.
